When is the Bike Park open?

We are open Monday to Sunday

Normal operating times: Monday to Sunday 06h00 to 18H00

Closed 25th December and 1st January

Is it open to the public?

Yes, the venue is open to the public and an entry fee is paid per rider or runner. Membership and multiple entry passes are available at the park reception.

Is it safe to ride at the Bike Park?

The park is a safe and secure venue with perimeter fencing, security provider protecting the venue safety. We also have a medical provider on duty over weekends should you need medical attention.

How do I book for a function?

Please use our contact page form, available on this site, and a member of the team will get in touch with you. Various options are available to make your function unforgettable.

Can children have Birthday parties at the Bike Park?

Yes. We specialise in providing an outstanding birthday party experience and have several party options that can be tailored to your needs. Click here to read more

Are the trails suitable for beginners?

Yes. We have trails that cater for all skill levels. All the trails marked as Green routes are for beginners.

I want to improve my technical skills, are their technical trails?

Yes. We have a newly developed skills area and also the trails marked as Blue routes are designed to improve your technical skills. Routes are graded from 1 to 5 as the difficulty increases.

What distance can I ride at the Bike Park?

We have a total of 18km of trail and you can ride them in any order and multiple times to cycle your desired distance. The Bike Park team can assist in planning a route that suits your individual distance requirements.

How do I know which trail is right for my skill level?

All the trails marked as Green routes are for beginner skill levels, Blue for intermediate skill levels and Black for riders with advanced technical riding ability.

What activities are there for kids?

We have specific areas for the kids depending on their ages; Kids track, Junior Trail, Jungle Gym and Jumping Castle. Older kids have a purpose built BMX track that caters for beginner to more advance riders.

Can children ride at the Bike Park?

Yes, we provide a safe environment that caters for their riding ability from straddle bikes, to the junior trail, BMX track and guided outrides.

If I am riding, can I bring my family to the venue as well?

Yes, we have activities to keep the kids busy, a wooden deck, coffee shop and a grass embankment so your family can sit back and relax while you enjoy your ride. You can also hire a Boma with braai facilities.

Can I buy food and beverages at the Bike Park?

We currently have a coffee shop and you can buy beverages, snacks and cold drinks. A new full service restaurant will be opening soon.

Can I bring my own food and beverages?

Yes, you can bring your own food and beverages and enjoy a picnic on the grass embankment or catering if you are hiring any of our Boma areas.

Is there mechanical assistance if my bike breaks?

We can assist with minor mechanical problems, puncture repair and pumping of tyres. Servicing and major repairs can be arranged with Cyclelab Mega Store in Fourways.

Can I buy spares or accessories at the Bike Park?

A new retail area at the Bike Park will be opening soon, it will be offering minor spares, tubes, accessories and clothing.

Do you hire out bikes?

We hire out bikes that can be used at the Bike Park.

Where do I park when I come to the Bike Park?

The Bike Park has a large fenced parking area and patrolled by our security provider, giving you peace of mind while you enjoy your ride.
